If you haven’t met them before on my blog, meet Candace and Jonny. Two of the nicest people in Edmonton. Jonny’s niceness is totally undestandable- he grew up in Halifax. Us downeasters are awesome. Candace beats the band for niceness though, and after meeting her parents last weekend at their Edmonton wedding, I totally understand why. I always feel comfortable with my wedding families, but they were incredibly welcoming and that makes my job very easy to capture the best moments, just because it feels like I have been invited in, and I am not just observing!

The other man in Candace’s life is Larry. I am afraid of horses (and I hope no one noticed) after an incident at Circle Square Ranch, involving a horse, a wasp nest, and me. I didn’t like to mention it before, but Larry was a champ and didn’t do anything to perpetuate my irrational fears!

I think I say it after every blog post, but the father daughter dance is one of my favorite wedding moments. They are always filled with such emotion. I LOVE this shot of Candace and her Dad. Moment’s like these are why I love what I do.

I want to thank you for letting me be a part of your big day! I had an amazing time with you and your families and I look forward to seeing both of you soon! I know you’ll live an amazing life together!
xoxo,
