This August, something super exciting is happening at a swank hotel in St. John’s!

You get to show off your sexy side, with an an awesome photographic experience! Bring your favorite lingerie, lushious lips and smokiest eyes! Sip a glass of champagne, and let us work our magic!

Boudoir photos are all about showing the sexiest side of you, in the classiest way imaginable.

When was the last time you did something this fun, just for you?

This two day marathon is August 7-8th, at a location that will be revealed upon booking. The $300 session fee includes a one hour session, a 20 image online password protected proof gallery of retouched (think glam!) images, as well as 3 high-resolution digital files that you can print, or share with whomever you like! Albums and prints are also available!

Edmonton Family Portraits | Don’t let this happen to your kids!

When I take family photos, or portraits of the kids, my goal is to capture your interactions, not still poses. So that when you look back in 10 or 20 years, what stands out is not the outfits, or hair, but the emotions!

I was taking a break from editing some engagement photos today, and I came across this. I had tears in my eyes laughing at it, because I know exactly which photo of me I would send in. I just had to share!

So I guess my public service announcement of the day is this: When you are choosing a photographer to capture how amazing your child is, make sure you select someone who is looking to showcase their personality- not just a cheezy pose! Oh, yeah, and please don’t cut their hair at home!

Edmonton Wedding Photographer | Candace & Jonny (and Larry) | Engagement Photos, Edmonton, Alberta

I met Candace a few years ago when she was competing in a rodeo pageant. I was the lucking photographer who got to take her photos at Fort Edmonton Park. She must have liked them, because I get to take her wedding photos really soon! Today we headed out to Fort Edmonton Park again for engagement photos of her and Jonny (who is awesome by the way, because he drove us around and posed for 6 hours while we giggled like girls and ate sour candy- and he didn’t complain a bit!). Fort Edmonton Park was closed for the season. Huge disappointment. So we headed towards the Grain Elevator Park in St. Albert. Closed for construction. More disappointment. Thankfully, it’s not hard to find an awesome place or two for photos in Edmonton!

Now, was I ever thrilled when we got to stop where Candace boards her horse Larry. We plan on stopping there to shoot some wedding photos as well. I have heard lots about Larry, but this was my first time meeting him. She was right- he is a funny horse.

….And because not nearly enough family photos involve horses…I present to you, Family Photo of the year.

Guys, I had an awesome day hanging out with you both. I can’t wait to shoot your wedding!

Edmonton Portrait Photographer | The Selfless Wives Club | Edmonton, Alberta

Last weekend, I met up with th girls from the Selfless Wifes Club for a photo shoot. The SWC is a group of woman who meet at each others houses once a month to hang out and spend some time relaxing, sans family. It’s a good time! Of course, I can never sit still when I am at home and I have people over, so I proposed that we do a Sexy in the City photo shoot. These are super popular for stagettes! The girls got all dolled up and we hung out around Jasper Ave for a couple of hours. The only thing that could have made it more fun would have been higher temperatures!

These were my favorite of each girl! I hope they enjoy them as much as I enjoyed shooting them!
