Melissa and her little ladies invited me into their home for some family photos. It was also a maternity shoot for Melissa, because she is due, literally any minute now. It was awesome to shoot them in their house, all cozy on the bed with Jeff.

Even more fun was heading to the park on what I suspect was the first day of spring. It was +6 degrees and beautiful! I was so happy after a long cold winter of shooting bundled up with gloves on!

Thanks for hanging out with me today ladies. It really was fun!

I have known Lori for a very long time. Think those little brown dresses with the orange scarves you might have worn as a child. Yup, Brownies! We were 5 year olds! Last year when Lori was pregnant with Presley, I was pregnant with Bridget. By the time she was big enough for belly shots, my belly was in the way! The girls were born 11 days apart! Last time,she was a little reluctant about belly photos anyway. This year however, her amazing husband Phillip along with Presley and their son Jakob came out to see me for a Maternity photo/family portrait session!

It was so good to see them! Even though they only live 4 hours away, it might as well be a lifetime!

Another family photo session from the Frosty Foto event that I held at Rundle Park in Edmonton a few weeks back was Crystal and her boys. This is a good looking group, simply because if you look at ever one of these boys they are all painfully handsome! Ok, and now, look at the family photo at the bottom! Have you ever seen a prouder looking Momma Duck!?

Family Photos

My camera and I know Kelly very well. I have had many photo sessions with her and her fiancee Cameron (including Summer and Winter engagement photos). This time, Kelly brought her sisters out to see me! What a group of beautiful girls!

It was beyond cold that day. I don’t get cold and routinely don’t wear a coat in Edmonton’s extreme temperatures but my thumbs hurt, inside my gloves that day!

I can’t wait to see them again at Kelly’s Canmore wedding. Though since it’s almost a year away, I suspect I will see them before that!

Last week I was feeling a little homesick and decided to share some of my scenic photos from Newfoundland. I put it out there that I would love to see some of the photos my blog readers have taken.

Thanks to Sherry Kennedy for sending me this one. I love how the dory of fishermen gives perspective as to just how massive icebergs really are.
